Ava Eliot Jackman popularly known as Ava Jackman was born in the United States of America on 19th July, 2005. She is the second adopted child of Deborra-Lee and Hugh Jackman, one of America and Hollywood’s top celebrities.

Ava Jackman has a senior brother whose name is Oscar Maximilian Jackman. He was adopted by Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee in the year 2000. She spent her early days of school in SoHo Manhattan, New York City.

Her parents met for the first time on a movie set of an Australian television show, Correlli in 1995 and fell in love. The couple tied the knot somewhere in the year 1996 in Toorak, Victoria, Australia. Her mother, Deborra-Lee suffered two continuous miscarriages and finally, they both decided to adopt children.

According to Hugh Jackman in an interview, he’d wanted to adopt mixed children because he believes the biggest need is in mixed race. He recorded that, how many families of today would choose to wait for months to adopt a blonde child other than going in to adopt a child from a mixed race.
