Broadus initially started his career as a football player during his school days. Due to his football career, he also received many offers from universities such as Florida State, LSU, Duke, Notre Dame and Washington State. During his childhood he used to play soccer to impress his father, however at the age of eighteen he stopped playing soccer. Instead, he began his dream of filmmaking and modeling as a career. As part of filmmaking, he directed music videos for his father and worked as a screenwriter to make short films. In fact, he also started studying Cinematography at his university, however, he dropped out of university to join the fashion industry.

In the fashion industry, he worked as a creative director for brands like Joyrich. Similarly, he modeled for Tommy Hilfiger and Dolce & Gabbana and campaigned for MCM and Kenneth Cole. He also co-founded his own film and music production ‘entities’. Likewise, he also founded ‘realqueensoun’ and ‘filmschoolproductions’.
