The comedian was born as David Lee Macary was born on July 2, 1985 in San Diego, California in the United States. He has not talked about his parents or siblings in the media. As for his education, he attended the University of Southern California along with Mooney. During this time, he met his future Good Neighbor members Nick Rutherford and Beck Bennett.
Along with the other three members, they came together to form the sketch comedy ‘Good Neighbor’ in 2007. After that, he joined Saturday Night Live for its 39th season as a segment director along with its members. He reportedly had to work with Comedy Central to get them out of their contract.
