Don Rickles was born on May 8, 1926 in New York to his mother Etta and father Max; both were Austrian immigrants. His father Max made ends meet as an entrepreneur while his mother Etta was a housewife.
Don Rickles had the best education, educated at Newtown High School and then enlisted in the United States Navy. While in the Navy, Don Rickles served as a seaman at the head of the line during World War I.
